Labcorp in Joplin, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary methods, collect specimens for tests, and enter patient data accurately.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and 1+ year experience; color vision tested; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work independently and in a team; overtime as needed.

Formación

• Strong phlebotomy skills and patient handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
