Job summary

Labcorp in Joplin, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient service team. You will perform skilled blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, and you will provide courteous, accurate service to our diverse patient population.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may include a Phlebotomy certificate. You will handle data entry, billing support, and be the face of Labcorp in our center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or training may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
