Job summary

The American Red Cross in Lehi, UT is hiring for a phlebotomy role that offers paid training and the chance to grow within the organization. You will support the blood collection process at fixed site locations, creating a welcoming environment for donor volunteers while following safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have healthcare and/or customer service skills. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance in a mission-driven organization that values service and community impact.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include lifting, pushing or pulling heavy weights and standing for long periods; flexibility for irregular hours.
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Connect with donors to explain how donations help; build a welcoming donor experience.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a friendly environment that encourages donors to return.
• Maintain attention to detail to ensure collected blood meets goals, regulatory requirements, and is safely transfused.
