Job summary

The American Red Cross seeks a phlebotomy-oriented team member to assist with blood collection at fixed site locations, ensuring a welcoming donor experience and strict adherence to safety procedures. Paid phlebotomy training is provided as you grow your healthcare skills within a nationwide humanitarian organization.

Typical duties include donor engagement, teamwork to maintain a friendly environment, and accurate collection that meets regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Associates degree OR a combination of education and work experience is required.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in public setting is required.
• A current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.
• Physical requirements may include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, long hours and irregular schedule changes.
• Basic computer skills are required. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
