Job summary

Texas Oncology in Webster, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect and process patient specimens in a Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule. The role may be Level I, II, or Senior based on experience, with no weekends or major holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended.
• Current state licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains collection areas and equipment and performs record keeping duties.
• Keeps accurate accessioning logs and lab records.
• Ensures proper patient identification and sample labeling.
• Adheres to OSHA, CLIA, and universal precautions policies.
