Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the Flower Mound team. Typical hours are 8:30a-5:00p, Monday-Friday. This position can be Level 1, 2, or Sr based on candidate experience.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, proper documentation, and sending specimens to labs. Level requirements vary from entry to senior with corresponding experience expectations. Work environment involves handling blood products and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy licensure recommended.
• Current state licensure if applicable.
• Level 2 requires three years of experience.
• Level Sr requires five or more years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects specimens from patients as ordered.
• Maintains proper documentation and logs.
• Ensures supplies are stocked and viable for patient collection.
• Sends specimens to reference labs for testing not done in-house.
• Operates designated lab equipment and adheres to safety policies.
