Job summary

Texas Oncology in Webster, Texas is seeking a Phlebotomist to join the team. The position may be a level I, II, or Senior based on experience, with a typical Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:00pm schedule, no on-call, weekends, or major holidays.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, proper labeling, processing in the lab, and maintaining a clean, organized phlebotomy area in a patient-first environment. Benefits are competitive and comprehensive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure from an accredited school of phlebotomy recommended; current state licensure if applicable.
• Level II requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Level Senior requires 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy and collects appropriate specimens from patients.
• Maintains proper documentation and logs as required by QA program.
• Maintains inventory of supplies and ensures viability of materials.
• Sends specimens to reference laboratories and processes lab orders and reports.
