Job summary

Carter BloodCare is expanding our team of Phlebotomists. We have openings for Mobile Collections and Donor Center teams across North, Central and East Texas. No experience is required and training is provided.

This role offers a path to contribute to life-saving blood donations while developing skills in phlebotomy and customer service. Phlebotomists will connect with donors, support team efforts, and handle equipment at drives and centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of general work experience OR comparable education in the medical field, such as an internship or externship.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a friendly environment so donors feel comfortable returning and encouraging friends/family to donate.
• Be detail-oriented all day, every day to ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements and can be transfused.
• Work with your team to move, set up, and take down equipment at mobile blood drives.
