Job summary

Carter BloodCare is seeking a Phlebotomist 1 to support donor flow, perform sterile venipuncture, and ensure quality blood products. The role requires strong customer service and adherence to SOPs while working at Donor Centers and Mobile Collections.

Travel between Texoma and North Texas is expected, with full-time hours and flexible shifts. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, some college preferred, and at least 6 months of related experience in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Some college preferred
• Minimum 6 months general work experience or education in the medical field (internship/externship acceptable)
• Customer service experience preferred (intern/extern)
• Blood banking or medical field experience preferred
• Background in a regulated industry preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist with donor flow and determine donor acceptability
• Perform sterile venipuncture for blood collection
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure SOP compliance
• Work in Donor Centers and Mobile Collections as needed
• Regular travel between Texoma and North Texas locations
