Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a phlebotomist for 90% FTE (36 hours/week) with 3-12 hour shifts from 4:30pm to 5:00am. This role includes every other weekend and alternating holidays, with evening, night, and weekend shift differentials.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy duties and providing compassionate patient care. Must complete a phlebotomy course and have 3 years of experience; CPT/PBT certification is required, HS diploma or equivalent, CPR preferred.

• Completion of a phlebotomy course and 3 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Phlebotomy Technician certification (PBT) or CPT certification is required.

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 36hrs per week, 3-12hr shift 4:30pm to 5:00am, every other weekend and varying holidays. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials

- $3/ hr evening, $4 hr night, and $3.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Additional components of compensation may include overtime and on-call pay
