Job summary

UW Health in northern Illinois invites applications for a Phlebotomy Technician at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford. The role requires completing a phlebotomy course and three years of phlebotomy experience, with a HS diploma or equivalent.

PBT or CPT certification is required or in process; BLS/CPR is preferred. The position is 90% FTE (36 hours/week) with 3–12 hour shifts from 4:30pm to 5:00am, including every other weekend and varying holidays.

Job description

Work Schedule:

90% FTE, 36hrs per week, 3-12hr shift 4:30pm to 5:00am, every other weekend and varying holidays. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials

- $3/ hr evening, $4 hr night, and $3.25/ hr weekend shift differential as applicable for hours worked.

Additional components of compensation may include overtime and on-call pay
