Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Preferred: Phlebotomy training or ASCP certification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples using venipuncture techniques across age groups.
• Receive and label specimens in the computer system, prioritize by priority codes.
• Maintain a clean, organized drawing station and restock supplies.
• Register courier-delivered specimens accurately and troubleshoot printer issues.
• Demonstrate mastery of hospital information systems and order tests correctly.
• Answer and transfer calls courteously and ensure coverage for incoming calls.
