Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist to join its Laboratory team. You will obtain blood samples for lab testing, perform clerical duties, and help ensure accurate reporting of results.

The role requires a California CPT license, CPR certification, and the ability to travel to partner sites using your own vehicle; prior typing and lab software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of typing and laboratory computer systems preferred.
• Associate degree in Science or MLT (ASCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Director of Laboratory, obtain blood samples for lab testing purposes.
• Clerical duties associated with charting and paper work.
• Performs some tests under supervision of medical technologists.
• Retrieves and distributes reports according to procedure.
• Use own vehicle, either as a courier or to do phlebotomy at other locations.
