Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic Orlando Health in Tampa is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. The role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, and clerical duties, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a 7:30am–4:30pm shift.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to plan, organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent Phlebotomy skills for both pediatric and geriatric patients.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing.
• Assist with clerical duties and laboratory operations.
• Identify patients and verify orders and requisitions.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and transport of specimens.
• Utilize Intergy, Flex-e Suite, LCM and other systems for results and billing.
