Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health's Edward Hospital in Naperville is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist - Inpatient for 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE). Shift 4am-8am, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.

Under supervision, you will collect, log and label specimens for testing, perform pre-analytical processing, and enter orders in the laboratory information system. Requires phlebotomy training with at least 100 clinical hours, CPR (BLS), and a valid Illinois driver's license with auto

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy training with a minimum of 100 clinical hours.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect, log and label specimens for testing.
• Perform pre-analytical processing and order specimens in the system.
• Register patient information and order laboratory tests.
• Arrange specimens for further processing by lab staff.
