Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist (Inpatient) for Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This 0.5 FTE position runs 4am-8am Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays. The role focuses on specimen collection, labeling, and entry into the lab system.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, 100 hours phlebotomy training, CPR/BLS, and a valid IL driver’s license with auto insurance. Earned pay ranges hourly based on experience, with benefits listed by Endeavor Health.

Qualifications

Job description

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Description Position Highlights: Position: Phlebotomist -Inpatient Location: Edward Hospital 801 S. Washington St Naperville, IL. PART-TIME: 0.5 FTE (20 hrs./week) SHIFT: 4am-8am Monday-Friday; Includes rotating weekend and holidays

What will you do?

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
• Performs pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.

Phlebotomist I

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
• Starting rate: $19.25/hr.

Phlebotomist II

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience required.
