Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist - Inpatient for the Edward Hospital location. This full-time role (40 hrs/week) features night hours from 10pm-6:30am with rotating weekends and holidays.

The position requires a high school diploma, a phlebotomy program with at least 100 clinical hours, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid IL driver's license with auto insurance. Starting pay for Phlebotomist I is $19.25/hr.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours.
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance.

Mansioni

• Prepare, collect, log and label specimens for testing according to policies.
• Perform pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Register patient information and order laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Description

Position Highlights:

• Position: Phlebotomist -Inpatient
• Location: Edward Hospital 801 S. Washington St Naperville, IL.
• Full-time: 1.0 FTE (40 hrs./week)
• NIGHT HOURS: 10pm-6:30am Monday-Friday; Includes rotating weekend and holidays
  

What will you do:

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
• Performs pre-analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
  

What you will need:

Phlebotomist I

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
• Starting rate: $19.25/hr.

Phlebotomist II

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
• Minimum of one year of phlebotomy experience required
