Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Kingston, NY team on a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter data accurately, and support billing and administrative tasks while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy training/certification, with preference for 1+ year phlebotomy experience. Travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
