Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1045 James Street, Syracuse, NY. Work schedule is Monday - Friday 7:45am - 4:45pm, with rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities include venipuncture collections, specimen handling, data entry, and basic billing support.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency.
• 1 year or more experience as a Phlebotomist.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
