Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist III - Float to support our client’s facility in Goldsboro, NC 27534. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with weekend rotation as needed.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary draws, verify patient identity, label and document specimens, and transport them in compliance with CLIA, OSHA and HIPAA. • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.
• Float between multiple designated locations as needed to support staffing needs and maintain smooth phlebotomy operations.

Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, rotate Saturday/Sunday (if needed)
Location: Goldsboro, NC 27534
Duration: 06 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $21 to $23.50/hour
Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable): $0.72 / mile
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Education:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
