Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures including drug screens and biometric exams.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Navigate computer systems and maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature records.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
• Read and comply with policies and procedures; assist with statistics.
• Support training and completion of courses in a timely manner.
