Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Norwich, CT, working Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. The role offers an hourly pay range of $23.20–$24.90 and a comprehensive benefits package with many employee programs.

You will collect specimens, perform data entry, and ensure accurate processing and documentation. Requirements include three years of phlebotomy experience, English communication ability, and high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Flexibility with weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Navigate systems to verify orders and enter data accurately.
• Handle billing info entry and payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport).
• Perform non-patient duties (inventory, cleaning, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain logs and complete trainings timely.
