Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Cheshire, CT. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20 - $24.90 per hour, with annual bonus potential.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and ensuring accurate processing of test orders. Requires strong phlebotomy skills, reliability, and the ability to navigate lab software systems.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders by using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and process payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phones, email.
