Quest Diagnostics Inc. seeks a Phlebotomist II for Enfield, CT, working Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotational weekends. Pay range is $23.20 to $24.90 per hour, with potential annual performance bonus. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain IDs and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitation, filing, phones, email).
• Follow departmental policies and procedures; maintain logs.
