Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II at our Washington, MO location to represent the company to patients and collect quality blood samples. You will prepare specimens for lab testing and explain procedures to patients with care and accuracy.

Under supervision, you will maintain records, ensure safety, and uphold confidentiality while delivering strong customer service and data entry accuracy. Growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a safe, accurate manner.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time; maintain records and a professional environment.
