Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our Festus, MO location to join a Medical Research client. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and explain procedures to patients to build trust.

This role requires attention to safety, accuracy, and confidentiality while maintaining strong patient service in a clinical setting. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years phlebotomy experience, and if possible a phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner to build trust.
• Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time, maintain a safe and professional environment, and maintain required records and documentation.
