Job summary

Talentify in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Phlebotomist II. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and explain procedures to patients with care and professionalism.

Under supervision, you’ll maintain accurate records, ensure a safe environment, and demonstrate leadership in process excellence. Requirements include a high school diploma, phlebotomy training or certification preferred, and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or formal training preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients entering for health routine checks or insights into health decisions.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing following procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain a trustworthy, safe, and accurate environment during blood draws.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain records and documentation, and perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
