Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3 years of phlebotomy experience, 2+ years in a Patient Service Center, and prefers medical assistant or paramedic training with phlebotomy certification. Strong customer service skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and build trust and confidence.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and draw blood accurately and safely.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and patient confidentiality.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and maintain records and a professional environment.
