Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Dawsonville, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a split schedule: Mondays and Fridays 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Tuesdays to Thursdays 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience and reliable data entry skills.

Pay starts at $21.70+ per hour with potential annual bonus; full benefits based on status. English communication is required, and prior phlebotomy certification is favored but not always required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays/overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing info; collect payments as required.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, and email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs including temperature and maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training timely.
