Job summary

Quest Diagnostics seeks a Phlebotomist II for Gainesville, GA, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position pays $21.70+ per hour, with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance and a comprehensive benefits package.

The role involves collecting specimens, processing tests, data entry, and maintaining logs. Requires 3 years phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and valid driver’s license. Medical training and phlebotomy certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience required (3+ years) including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport as required.
• Enter data accurately and navigate lab technology systems.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
