Qualifications

• Completion of an educational program in Phlebotomy or Medical Assistance.
• More about this job: Online BLS certifications without a skills assessment component do not meet BLS requirements.
• Laboratory or Medical Office Setting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Identify and draw blood from patients while ensuring minimal discomfort.
• Verify lab orders and release orders for specimen collection.
• Check in patients and create appointments in the system.
• Monitor insurance requirements for tests requiring precertification.
• Assist physician teams with research-related lab orders.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the sample collection station and front desk area.
