Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Lab Associate II for the Main Outpatient Lab in St. Louis. This full-time role performs phlebotomy, processes specimens, coordinates testing, and delivers patient-centered service in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualified candidates will have 1-3 years of lab or phlebotomy experience, familiarity with LIS and EMRs, and strong communication and organizational skills. Weekend rotation and holiday coverage apply as part of a dynamic lab team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of laboratory/phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital, clinic, or laboratory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy with proper patient identification.
• Process, label and prepare specimens for testing.
• Coordinate laboratory testing and maintain patient records.
• Utilize LIS and EMR systems.
• Deliver excellent customer service while supporting lab operations.
