Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Stockbridge, GA for a 3-month contract. This onsite role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

You will interact with patients, comply with procedures, and support leadership behaviors. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years phlebotomy experience, flexibility for weekends/holidays, and high school diploma; California/Nevada/Washington require phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Verify patient demographic information and labeling post-venipuncture.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
