Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license if applicable.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders and patient data using lab systems and client tools.
• Navigate computer systems to enter data accurately and timely.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policy.
• Process specimens for labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport as required.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, sanitation, filing, phone and email communication.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies.
