Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Chester, NJ seeks a Part-Time Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support clinical testing. Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 9:00–13:00 with rotating Saturdays 8:00–12:00. Pay: $24.50–$26.25/hour plus 15% part-time shift differential.

Eligible for annual bonus depending on performance and company factors. The role requires 3 years phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and flexibility for weekend work.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Keyboard/data entry experience required
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams)
• Administer oral solutions as trained
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately
• Enter billing information and collect payments as required
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and compliance with policies
• Complete trainings online and in person on schedule
