Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Charlottesville, VA, seeks a Phlebotomist II for a part-time role scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:45 AM to 1:45 PM. The position offers competitive pay and opportunities for performance-based bonuses.

The ideal candidate has three years of phlebotomy experience, data-entry skills, and the ability to navigate lab systems efficiently. A high school diploma is required, with phlebotomy certification preferred.

Qualificações

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Collect specimens according to established procedures for drug screens, biometric screenings, and insurance exams.
• Administer oral solutions according to established training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contacts.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain billing information and collect payments when required, following policies.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and email.
• Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and related maintenance logs.
• Complete online and in-person training courses timely.
