Candidates need three years phlebotomy experience, data entry skills, and reliable transportation. The position offers hourly pay range $23.20–$24.90 and eligible incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per established training.
• Verify orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter identification and billing information; collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: label, centrifuge, aliquot, freeze and prepare for transport.
• Handle non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
• Read and follow departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with data/statistics submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs (maintenance, temperature).
• Complete online and in-person training on time.
