Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in West Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Pay starts at $20.00+ per hour with eligibility for annual performance bonuses.

The role includes specimen collection, data entry, and adherence to lab procedures in a fast-paced setting. Requirements include a minimum of three years phlebotomy experience, high school diploma or equivalent, and preferred phlebotomy certification.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screening.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and approved tools.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Read and comply with departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data compilation when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
• Complete training courses timely.
