Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for the ICC labs in Mount Prospect. This full-time role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, and point-of-care testing with occasional travel to other ICC Labs. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:30pm, with rotating start times and some Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Perform phlebotomy for patients of all ages.
• Assist with outpatient registration and order entry at the point of service.
• Process specimens and POCT as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and staff.

Position Highlights

Hourly Pay Range: $19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Phlebotomist - ICC

Location: 199 W Rand Rd Mount Prospect

Full Time: 40 hours/ week

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm with rotating start time, Every other Sat and no Sundays or holidays.

Required Travel: Float to all 4 ICC Labs

This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

What you will do

Reporting to the ICC Lab Manager, the ICC Lab Specialist performs a variety of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical functions in the laboratory. This includes key laboratory duties such as providing customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry, completion of medical necessity at point of service, phlebotomy, specimen processing and point of care testing (POCT).

What you will need

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Some college level courses preferred.
• Certification: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups required or certification from an approved school of phlebotomy.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in direct customer service preferred.
• Valid drivers license and auto insurance - required.
