Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist - ICC in Mount Prospect, IL, to join our lab team. This full-time role involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, POCT, and reception duties across ICC labs with travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED, at least one year of phlebotomy experience (or certification) and customer service experience. A valid driver's license is required for travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Some college level courses preferred.
• Certification: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups required or certification from an approved school of phlebotomy.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in direct customer service preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance - required

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy, specimen collection, processing and POCT.
• Provide customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry.
• Complete medical necessity at point of service.
• Perform accompanying laboratory duties as assigned.

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Phlebotomist - ICC
• Location: 199 W Rand Rd Mount Prospect
• Full Time: 40 hours/ week
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm with rotating start time, Every other Sat and no Sundays or holidays.
• Required Travel: Float to all 4 ICC Labs
• This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

Reporting to the ICC Lab Manager, the ICC Lab Specialist performs a variety of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical functions in the laboratory. This includes key laboratory duties such as providing customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry, completion of medical necessity at point of service, phlebotomy, specimen processing and point of care testing (POCT).
