Job summary

Endeavor Health in Mount Prospect, IL is seeking a Phlebotomist - ICC for a full-time role. The position involves phlebotomy, specimen processing, and POCT, with outpatient registration and order entry duties.

You will travel to all four ICC labs as needed, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:00am–4:30pm with rotating start times, every other Saturday; Sundays and major holidays off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups or certification from an approved school.
• Minimum one-year direct customer service experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical laboratory duties.
• Provide customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen processing and point-of-care testing (POCT).

Hourly Pay Range:

$19.71 - $28.58 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Phlebotomist - ICC
• Location: 199 W Rand Rd Mount Prospect
• Full Time: 40 hours/ week
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm with rotating start time, Every other Sat and no Sundays or holidays.
• Required Travel: Float to all 4 ICC Labs
• This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs

What you will do:

Reporting to the ICC Lab Manager, the ICC Lab Specialist performs a variety of pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical functions in the laboratory. This includes key laboratory duties such as providing customer service support including outpatient registration and order entry, completion of medical necessity at point of service, phlebotomy, specimen processing and point of care testing (POCT).

What you will need:

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Some college level courses preferred.
• Certification: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience with all age groups required or certification from an approved school of phlebotomy.
• Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in direct customer service preferred.
• Valid drivers license and auto insurance - required
