Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Jersey City, NJ. The role typically runs Monday to Wednesday 8:30 AM–4:30 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. The pay range is $22.80 to $24.45 per hour with eligibility for annual bonus based on performance.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent and preferred phlebotomy certification. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, order verification, and maintaining logs and procedures in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, and email/phone handling.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
