Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify and confirm test orders using lab technology systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for transport through labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training courses timely.
• Assist with statistics submission and inventory management.
