Qualifications

• Prior phlebotomy experience required; pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections included.
• HS diploma or equivalent; medical training preferred where applicable.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures and ensure accuracy.
• Enter data and verify orders using lab information systems.
• Maintain logs, inventories, and quality records as directed.
• Assist with non-patient facing duties and billing information entry.
