Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II for Norton Shores, MI, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with rotating weekends. The role focuses on specimen collection, data entry, and heavy use of lab systems to ensure accurate test orders and billing details.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Navigate lab technology systems and verify orders.
• Enter data accurately and maintain documentation.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance/temperature logs.
