Quest Diagnostics Inc. in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work a schedule including 1:00 PM–7:00 PM Monday and 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Tue–Thu, with Fridays 9:00 AM–3:00 PM.

The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience, solid data entry skills, and flexibility for weekends and overtime. High school diploma or equivalent is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Must be flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver7s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
