Quest Diagnostics Inc in El Dorado, KS seeks a Phlebotomist II for a fixed schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:45 AM–5:00 PM, Tue/Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay range starts at $20/hour with potential bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs; weekends/holidays/on-call/overtime.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
• High school diploma/equivalent; phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA/NV/WA).

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions per training.
• Verify orders in lab systems with client contact and approved tools.
• Navigate computer and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Follow departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Assist with statistics/data submission when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion timely.
