Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Flower Mound, TX is hiring a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support patient testing. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends, and offers a pay range starting at $20.80 per hour with potential annual bonuses based on performance.

Responsibilities include specimen collection, patient identification, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings).
• Research test/client information and verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Navigate a computer and enter data accurately.
• Obtain identification and enter billing info and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, stock, sanitizing, filing, phones, email).
• Read and comply with department policies and procedures.
• Assist with statistics and data submissions.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and maintenance logs.
