Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Beaumont, TX is hiring a Phlebotomist II to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with rotational weekends. The position pays $21.50+ per hour and may be eligible for annual bonus.

Responsibilities include collecting specimens, processing samples, data entry and verifying orders in lab systems. Requirements: three years phlebotomy experience, high school diploma, and ability to work with diverse age groups.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Collect and enter data, verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and preparing for transport.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
