Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our Glenbrook, IL location. This full-time role (40 hours/week) operates Monday–Friday with possible early shifts and occasional evenings; rotating weekends and holidays may apply.

Pay ranges from $19.31 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy procedures, handling specimen orders, and documenting test results in lab systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experience.
• CPR-BLS certification for Healthcare Provider required; ASCP certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferred.
• Good communication and organization skills; moderate computer skills; reliable transportation to travel between sites; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Supervisor/Manager/Director.
• Order tests into Laboratory/Hospital systems and document receipt of specimens.
• Collect patient specimens according to test requirements and patient population.
• Collect blood samples for tests ensuring correct tubes and adequate volume.
